EHBi Summer Happenings

We hope all of our EHBi families are enjoying the beautiful summer weather we have been having! While you have been gone, we have had a lot of happenings here at the school.

First, the hallways and classrooms will be a bit brighter with new LED lighting fixtures that have been installed throughout the building! Also, all of our classrooms have had their floors freshly waxed, carpets cleaned, and the classrooms themselves have been deep cleaned by our amazing custodial crews.

We have some fun events coming up for our students in August and September. Please check out our calendar below and we hope to see you at one of them!

We are looking forward to welcoming our students and families back in September with a refreshed building for all to enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions for 2026-2027

When is the first day of school?

September 9 for K-3 students, September 10 for preschool.

When will I know who my child's classroom teacher is?

We are hard at work on classroom placement and scheduling. You will be notified of your classroom teacher placement in mid-August.

When will I know where my bus stop is?

Transportation schedules are typically released at the end of August and are posted on the District Transportation Website.

Will there be any back to school events?

Our Popsicles with the Principal event will be on Tuesday, September 8 from 6:00-7:00 PM. You can take a self-guided tour of the school, find your classroom, and play on the playground. More info about Kindergarten-specific events will be shared soon.

Our family moved to a new address. Who do we notify?

Ice Cream Social - Wednesday, July 29th

The Harwich Community Center is hosting an ice cream social for families affected by substance abuse on Wednesday, July 29th from 4-6:00 pm.

Registration is suggested

Yarmouth-Dennis Youth Hockey Learn to Play Hockey program for ages 4-12, with session dates and registration info.

YD Youth Hockey

Learn to play hockey with YD Youth Hockey! Ages 4-12 years old - must have completed basic skills training.

2 sessions held at Tony Kent Arena - 9/11-10/9 and then again 10/16-11/20
