August greetings from EHBi!  I can't believe we are just weeks away from the first day of school on September 3!

Placement Letters
Families will receive placement letters with your child's classroom assignment via PowerSchool this year on August 18.  We appreciate your patience as we get everything finalized in our student information system.  

Popsicles with the Principal-September 2
This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting with the PTAC e-board, and with their generous support, we will be holding a Popsicles with the Principal event for all PK-3 families and students on September 2 from 4:00-5:30 at EHBi.  I hope to see you there and welcome you to our new school year!

Welcome, Ms. DeCristofaro
Our new Administrative Assistant to the Principal, Ms. Caren DeCristofaro, joined the EHBi team this week.  She brings over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant at Cape Cod Community College, and is excited to work with the students, staff, and families at Ezra Baker!  

As we welcome Ms. DeCristofaro to the office, I would like to thank Ms. Doris Berard, our data specialist, and Ms. Debra Herring, who has stepped in as interim administrative assistant to the Principal during our hiring process.  Thank you for keeping things running seamlessly!

Building Updates
Our flooring project is now complete in the Related Arts wing.  The carpet has been replaced by laminate flooring in the library/media center, foreign language classroom, and team chair office.  The main hallway and two classrooms have been repainted.  All of the main hallways are scheduled to get a fresh, shiny coat of wax next week!
