Field Day Details

We welcome families to attend our school field day next Tuesday! Here are some helpful tips for everyone:
  • It will be HOT! Hats, water bottles, and sunscreen are a must! We will have water and shade stations available.
  • Parking-please use common sense. We will have more cars than spaces, so please be courteous and park so all cars can leave at any time. If you park on a side street, please ensure you are not blocking driveways or the roadway. Please follow any staff directions or signage about prohibited parking areas.
  • Family Picnic-All EHBi students are welcome to have lunch provided by the school. Other family members should bring a blanket and picnic lunch from home. Help keep our school grounds clean! We will have large trash barrels all around the field.
  • Dismissal from field day-Our school day is a full day on 6/16, but we understand families may want to dismiss students early. You do not need to go to the main office. We will have staff available on the field for you to sign out right from the field. It is important for us to account for everyone, so please make sure you sign out with a staff member.

Summer Food Program

This summer, the food bag program will be offered to families who are interested and choose to sign up. The food is delivered to Dennis Yarmouth Intermediate Middle School. If your child is participating in ESY or Alphabest, and you would like to receive food bags, they can receive them during their time there. If your child is not participating in ESY or Alphabest but you are still interested in receiving food bags, you can pick up the food bags every other week in the morning at Dennis Yarmouth Intermediate Middle School (DYIMS) 286 Station Ave, South Yarmouth MA.

If you are interested please message on ParentSquare or email Tanya Roza, the school social worker at rozat@dy-regional.k12.ma.us with any other questions or concerns. Please make sure to note if your child is participating in ESY or Alphabest this summer."

New DYRSD Bus Request Form for 2026–2027 School Year

The district has a new transportation request process for the 2026–2027 school year. Families must fill out a transportation form for each student to let us know if bus service is needed for next school year. Please complete the form whether or not your student will ride the bus.

To make sure transportation is ready for the first day of school in September, forms must be turned in by June 25.

Forms turned in after June 25 may not be processed before school starts. Returning students who do not submit a form by the deadline will not automatically receive bus transportation. Families will need to submit a late request, which could cause a delay in service.

*Please note that this is for regular bus routes only, not specialized transportation.

Weekly reminders will be sent to families who have not yet completed the form.
